Cleaning for Joy

We are looking for somebody to join us cleaning private homes in Welwyn Garden City/Hatfield area on a contractual (not self-employed) basis.

We can offer contracts between 10 and 20 hours per week working Monday to Friday. As we are cleaning private homes your working day will be between 9am and 5pm with the majority of work in the mornings.

This is a permanent salaried position and you will receive paid holidays, automatic pension enrolment and SSP (subject to the number of hours you work)

A positive attitude and being willing to work is more important than previous experience as a domestic cleaner as full training will be given working alongside a team member for your first four weeks. After that you will be working to a fortnightly rota with your regular customers.

Full driving licence and car is preferred as you may visit more than one home in your working day

In the past seven years of cleaning I have met so many new customers who have had bad experiences with other cleaners who made them feel uncomfortable in their own home and too afraid to say they were not happy with the service they were receiving.

When cleaning someone’s home I ask myself “Would I be happy for my Mum to be treated in this way; would she be happy with this clean?” When I am recruiting I always ask myself “Would I send this person to clean for my Mum?”
