Wasp season is slowing down but its worth considering that any active nest will be a reasonable size by now and what can appear quite sedate can become extremely active once any form of treatment is applied. Worth watching the before treatment and after video before deciding to tackle one without an effective chemical and no PPE.

September and its spider mating season! 😂 Time to put your feet up on the couch at night!

From September through to October house spiders become more visible and active in your house. Its male spiders you usually see running across the carpet looking for a mate.
Please don't kill them as if left alone they will kill most of the insects in your home. If you leave them alone they will soon disappear back to their hidey hole for the rest of the year.

House spiders do not come up the plugholes into your bath. Spiders are thirsty creatures living in a very water-poor environment, and any that venture near a sink or tub with drops of water in it will try to reach the water. Once in the slick-sided porcelain basin, they are unable to climb back out unless a helpful human 'lends them a hand.'"

Sometimes the simplest of recommendations can cure a rat problem! Got good camera footage of a rat on this job bypassing my bait box and eating the food debris ftom the drain. Until my visit this morning i wasnt aware this was occuring , but its obviosly a regular occurence as there is no other possible food source and tne rat has been there a while by all accounts! Witnout tnis banquet daily it wouldnt of been there at all!

Something a bit different this morning.. a customer has had several chickens taken, as has the neighbour! Nice little brook between the two plots! And mink suspected! I found what looks like a good den site after wading through fairly deep water, so we'll see what traps baited with fresh pheasant and mackeral throws up!

As we edge closer to the colder months, it's worth taking ten minutes out of your day to survey all the nooks and crannies in your home to look at possible vulnerable areas rodents may attempt to gain access and set up in your home. This customer wasnt aware of any rat issue until she found droppings on her bathroom mat. A thorough survey on arrival not only unearthed a very entrenched rat issue but a multitiude of areas rodents could easily gain access. A treatment programme was set up at this property, the area cleaned and sanitised and all possible ingress points proofed to prevent the issue returning.
