Thank you Verde Hair Lounge for giving my client a beautiful wash, cut and blow dry today. She is living with Dementia. She has a big personality but was daunted by returning to a salon. Her anxiety was eased and she left feeling good about herself. Thank you for your patience and kindness 💚🫂

Good afternoon, I am looking for a hairdresser that has experience with peope living with Dementia or at least has at a calm and patient nature for a lovely client of mine. She is sensitive when it comes to hair washing but is open to it and excited at the prospect of getting her hair done for the first time in a long time. Today I went to the Brickhaus Cafe our local Lego cafe in Wellington with a client. We had a lovely time, they are very sensitive to customers who have sensory difficulties, the milkshakes were delicious and the menu reasonably priced. My client finished building Wally and I did a Maze! It was such a great atmosphere and the staff were highly accommodating. I would highly recommend for anyone, including vulnerable people, we got a very warm welcome 🙂
