💛 Important Update from This & That - please read 💛
Times have been tough lately, and after a lot of thought, we’ve decided it’s time to make a change. Between running the shop, keeping up with online sales, and making sure the boys are happy and fulfilled, it’s become clear that we simply can’t give our best to every part of our lives right now.
Harri has been struggling with her mental health, anxiety and sleep deprivation for months now, I'm sure you've seen she isn't her usual self. And as for me I've had to take on alot of the load which I physically cannot do alone anymore, I'm exhausted.
Our customers deserve us at our very best — not the tired, worn-out versions of ourselves that have been running on empty. We’ve been chasing our tails, stretched too thin, and constantly facing things out of our control. We are making silly mistakes and getting things wrong leaving us often out of pocket and causing frustration for all. No one deserves that we've al aye taken huge pride in our work and we want to be proud again. We are so sorry if we have let anyone down, we always work endlessly to rectify any problems.
So, we’re stripping things back to find the joy in what we do again. 💫
For now, we’ll be closing the doors of our physical shop and moving exclusively online — through Facebook and hopefully Whatnot too!
We’ll still be using the shop space for storage, packing orders, and doing our live sales. We may even host an open day once a month — we’ll see how things go.
We just need to bring back the old Tommy and Harri — not the shells we’ve become. We’ve poured our hearts into This & That, but at the end of the day, we’re only two people, and there simply aren’t enough hours to keep doing it all.
Thank you for your continued love and support — it means more than you’ll ever know.
Here’s to a new chapter, where we can love what we do again. ❤️
Below is our weekly rota so you know exactly what is what - although Tommy is potentially going to be work a second job around this too!
