BIG BOUNCING BOG BRUSHES!!! Current customers need not worry. Your brushes are da bomb. But ask yourself this: when was the last time you replaced these buggers? Not pleasant, I know, but we need to talk. If yours is full of water 🤢 is crusty, rusty, then it’s a musty, that you thrusty into the dusty-bin. Doesn’t have to be posh. 12 hours of gangster cleaning left…

I managed to do the “cleaning every day of Christmas” and I’m so pleased with my home. Now, when the pressure gets tough the closer we get to the ho ho ho, it’s just swift maintenance cleaning. So any surprise guests, are not a problem! Just bring a bottle, as I’ve drunk all mine.

I’m not knocking the weekly cleaner. Most cleaners have a very short window each week to do what they can. This is maintenance and general cleaning. I work alongside these guys. I’m a detail cleaner, who took 2.5hrs today to clean one en-suite, as though I was cleaning a crime scene. Devil is in the detail 😈

Anyway. It’s after 10pm, and yes, that’s me, still cleaning. I couldn’t paint tonight to relax, so to quiet my brain, I need to keep my hands busy.

What I need to tell you, as this time of year is expensive as well as busy, is that you don’t need to fill your cupboards with cleaning products. Manufacturer’s seem to sell different products just for different rooms.

Ensure you’ve got clean microfibres, and just use water, then buff dry. Honestly, it’s so effective for most general cleaning. (Maybe not the toilet though, like this cheeky elf). If something does need an extra bit of help, then just washing up liquid.

Jobs a goodun.

My kit bag has just gotten lighter over time, as I realise I don’t need thirty different products that actually harm surface and my lungs!
