Something I never get used to after all these years 😩
❄️ During the current spell of cold weather, we’re all looking to keep warm and seek shelter from the cold – and rats are no exception.
🏠 In winter, rats don’t hibernate but instead find warm shelters like homes, sheds, and garages to escape the cold, becoming more likely to venture near human habitats in search of food and warmth.
✅ There are steps that everyone (residents, landlords, landowners, the council and other partners) can take to help control rats and importantly keep them away from homes, businesses and gardens.
