🏡 Out and About | Longbanks Green

A familiar sight at Cala Homes’ Longbanks Green development in Dunbar, with the CleanTEC van on site as our team continues supporting the development.

From the early stages of construction through to the final handover cleans, our work takes us in and out of developments like this as properties progress towards completion.

It’s always good to see these new communities taking shape, particularly on projects we’ve been involved with over an extended period.

🏗️ Supporting Clancy Construction

A new site and a new compound for Clancy Construction in Port Seton, East Lothian, with the CleanTEC team on hand to carry out the initial clean of the compound and welfare facilities.

The wider Cockenzie area is seeing significant investment in renewable energy infrastructure, including a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) development. The project will help store electricity and support Scotland’s energy network as the demand for renewable energy continues to grow.

Before work gets fully underway, there’s plenty happening behind the scenes to get a construction site ready for the teams who will be working there every day.

From offices and meeting spaces to canteens, changing areas and welfare facilities, having a clean and well-presented environment from the outset is an important part of getting things off to the right start.

It’s another example of the varied work our teams carry out across the construction sector, supporting projects at different stages — not just when they’re approaching completion.

Great to be supporting Clancy Construction as work gets underway at another new site.

🤝 A Helping Hand | Edinburgh

Daily cleaning of communal areas on Castle Street in Edinburgh, where one of our CleanTEC operatives were supporting ReGroup FM with additional cleaning cover.

With members of their regular cleaning team on annual leave, we were able to step in and provide a few days of support, helping keep everything running as normal.

Not every job needs to be a large project or a long-term contract. Sometimes it’s simply about being available when extra support is needed and working alongside another team to get the job done.

It’s always good to build relationships with other businesses in the industry, and we’re pleased to have been able to support Re Group FM on this occasion.

🏡 The Final Touches | Cala Homes, Dunbar

Another busy week for the CleanTEC team at Cala Homes’ Longbanks Green development in Dunbar, carrying out final handover cleans as more properties reach completion.

After months of work from the various trades involved, these final stages are all about bringing everything together and making sure each home is clean, presented and ready for its new owners.

Our team work through each property, taking care of the finer details and giving every room that final clean before the keys are handed over.

It’s always satisfying seeing a property reach this stage, knowing it’s almost ready to become someone’s new home.

Great to continue supporting Cala Homes in Dunbar as the development progresses.

🏗️ New Partnership | CField Construction

A new project and a new partnership for CleanTEC as our team gets started on site with CField Construction at 28 St Andrew Square in Edinburgh.

Right in the heart of the city, the project will see the existing Category A listed building transformed into a 172-bedroom, four-star Clayton Hotel, alongside the construction of a new eight-storey extension.

It’s an impressive development, bringing together a major modern hotel project while retaining and working around many of the building’s original historic features and façade.

Our team are now on site carrying out builders cleans as areas progress, working through the spaces and helping prepare them for the next stages of the project.

For CleanTEC, it also marks the beginning of a new working relationship with CField Construction. We’re always pleased to build new partnerships within the industry and get the opportunity to show what our team can bring to a project.

Great to have the team on site and we’re looking forward to seeing this one progress over the coming months.

🚐 They Don’t Stay Parked for Long…

Most days they’re spread across East Lothian, Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders, with our teams out looking after window cleaning rounds, commercial clients and projects across the area.

There’s always something satisfying about seeing them lined up like this. Clean, well presented and carrying the CleanTEC name — exactly how we expect them to be.

They’ve become a familiar sight on the roads over the years, and hopefully a reflection of the standards we’ve worked hard to build across the business.

We talk a lot about the standards we expect across our sites, vehicles, equipment and the work we deliver for our clients — but those same expectations apply to our own workplace too.

Some are much closer to home.

North Berwick Bowling Club is one of our long-standing local clients, and a great example of the regular commercial cleaning work our team carries out quietly in the background each week.
