On top of our usual bookings, we also have 300+ student properties to clean, freshen up and get ready for the new academic year 🎓🏠🧼 so it’s going to be a very busy few weeks for the full team!

Unfortunately, this means we can’t take on any more carpet or upholstery cleaning bookings until September.

Here’s how the process typically works:

1. Inspection
* The technician identifies stains, heavy traffic areas, and the carpet fiber type.
* They determine the appropriate cleaning solution and method.
2. Pre-vacuuming
* Dry soil and dust are removed with a commercial vacuum.
* This step is important because most carpet dirt is dry particulate matter.
3. Pre-treatment
* A cleaning solution is sprayed onto the carpet.
* High-traffic areas and stains receive extra treatment to loosen oils, dirt, and grime.
4. Agitation (if needed)
* The solution may be worked into the fibers using a brush or machine.
* This helps break up embedded soil.
5. Hot Water Extraction
* The wand shown in your image sprays hot water (often mixed with a mild cleaning solution) deep into the carpet.
* Powerful vacuum suction immediately extracts the water along with dissolved dirt and contaminants.
* The technician makes overlapping passes for even cleaning.
6. Spot Treatment
* Any remaining stains (coffee, wine, ink, pet spots, etc.) are treated individually if needed.
7. Grooming
* The carpet fibers may be brushed in one direction.
* This improves appearance and helps the carpet dry evenly.
8. Drying
* The carpet is left slightly damp.
* Drying typically takes 4–12 hours, depending on humidity, airflow, and carpet thickness.
* Using fans, air conditioning, or opening windows can speed drying.
