Another entry hole found.... Rats have chewed through the man hole and straight into the house of my customer...... This had two problems.... 1: rats were entering the house (covered in drain juice 😱) and going in food cupboards and literally everywhere. 2: due to them chewing through the drain, the smells from the drain entered straight into the house every time the drain was used.

Luckily we will be sorting both problems out for the customer, once the infestation has been sorted, a quick rat flap at the lower end of the drain and then sorting this man hole out.

One of our lovely customers was experiencing rats in her ceiling in the bathroom. After exhausting all other options the last place to proof was the sewer line. I'm really sorry but I have had to put my prices up. All the products I purchase have dramatically increased. I really didn't want to, but like many businesses its a necessity. I tried to hold my already low prices as long as possible, but as of today this has to change. Sorry again.

In one of my customers cellars, the rats had dug through the inlets for the gas pipes from the street. You can see the fresh dirt that had been pushed in as they dug. They caused lots of food items to be thrown away as well as one dead after it died chewing through a wire and shorting the houses electrics.

This photo shows that the issue regarding this customers property is wood mice. These little creatures like to cover their food and keep it from other animals. As you can see here, they have found bits from behind the cupboards and under the floor to hide the bait. As this species ventures outside, we had to change to traps to limit the possibility of secondary poisoning of other animals.

We try to be responsible and limit the effect of our actions on the environment. We don't like killing any animals (honestly I don't, it's the worse part of my job) and definitely do not want to harm other animals.

One of our customers had a boiler refit, so the boiler was outside in a cubby hole. The engineers who did this left the holes in the wall, instead of proofing. The local neighbourhood rats then thought it would be a good idea to move in. The rats also thought it would be a good idea to chew every downstairs door whilst the owners were away. Expensive to replace doors, not so much the rat treatment. Let us know if you are experiencing any problems like this or want your house checking for ingress points. Always happy to help.

Holes like this are allowing mice to run free INSIDE my customers house. These holes are easily fixed and proofed against pest activity. If you have an infestation you need to deal with the holes, but AFTER the problem is dealt with inside.
