Professional Pram and Nursery Equipment Cleaning at Mumsright

We have been valeting prams and nursery equipment at Mumsright for around 4 years now and due to an increasing demand we have recently opened our new purpose built cleaning facility at the Mumsright Wirral, based in Upton on the Wirral.

We really believe that we offer a better cleaning service than any of our competitors and our prices are low.

Every Pram we valet its stripped down to the bare chassis. ALL fabrics, whenever possible are removed. All fabrics are inspected, spot cleaned to remove stains and then steam cleaned, using our 5 bar steam and suction cleaner.. a serious piece of kit! Steam cleaning will eradicate dust mites, bed bugs as well as surface bacteria and will also loosen debris from seams and hard to reach places such as buckles. Seat and Carrycot fabrics are treated with a sensitive antibacterial laundry cleanser (99.9% Germ Kill) before being individually hand washed using non biological laundry detergent or pure soapflakes, your choice. (We only use soapflakes on hoods and water resistant fabrics)

All fabrics will undergo a second final steaming when they have been dried, which helps to removes excess creasing before they are refitted to a clean serviced chassis.

We never cut corners! The only time we put fabics in the washing machine is to remove excess water prior to drying. We kneed and push the dirt out of your fabrics!!! After all hand washing is much more effective way of removing dirt from pushchair/pram fabrics than a machine washing.

All chassis are power washed on site to remove dirt and damaging sand and grit. All chassis moving parts are lubricated with the appropiate lubricant (usually Silicon) Chassis are polished. and checked for loose screws/rivets - We can carryout some minor repairs along with your valet and service at no extra charge.

Wheel swivel mechanisms are cleaned and lubricated (this can really make a diffrence to how your Pram/Pushchair handles) Wheel bushes and Wheel bearings are cleaned and then checked for smoothness. The old grease is removed and the bearings are regreased if necessary. (regreasing is usually nearly always required with well used Baby Jogger, Bugaboo and Out n About models)

We deep clean all handlebar foams using a quality dermatologically tested antibacterial cleanser.
