Mixed emotions today 🥰

Kane, the first dog I ever groomed within the pod at just 12 weeks old back in December 2020 was back today for the full works and to say goodbye as he sets off tomorrow on his flight to America with his Dad to start a new chapter in their lives.

I have literally watched this boy grow, I remember when I could pick him up for a cuddle and now he is big enough to carry me! He will always be baby Kane to me though and I have loved looking through photo memories tonight to make this post (with a little emotional tear or two)

Ben, thank you for trusting me with you boy, good luck to you all ‘across the pond’ in your new lives, don’t be a stranger and photos of Kane please. 🥰🥰

Some dogs come into your life and quietly change you forever.

Charlie was one of those. ❤️❤️

When I first met him, he carried the weight of a past that hadn’t been kind. But then something beautiful happened—Charlie found his people. He discovered patience. Safety. Soft hands. Love.

Watching him learn to trust, to relax, to just be a dog was everything. His parents showed him the kindness he always deserved, and because of them, the rest of his life was filled with warmth instead of fear.

As his groomer, I saw his journey up close. I saw how love changed him. And I will always be grateful I got to be a small part of Charlie’s story.

Run free, sweet Charlie. You were so deeply loved, and you always will be. 🌈✨

Morning all on this cold day..

You know it is a cold one when you have to give your hosepipe a warm bath to get things working!

On a serious note, it’s not fun out there, it’s very cold, ground is still scattered with snow and very icy/slippery and it is now snowing/raining which is only going to make pathways and roads dangerous.

Your safety and your pups safety must be paramount and I will be contacting those with appointments today to check it is safe for you to attend.. if you feel you wish to change your appointment that is absolutely fine (no fees will apply).

Stay safe and keep your pups outdoor time to a minimum while the ground is so cold 🐾❤️🐾
