FERRARI BB512 VEHICLE DETAIL & PHOTO ALBUM PROJECT
For some years now, both David Marsh and I have been working very closely on our client’s vehicles with a view to create lavish photographic albums. I prepares our clients supercars for a hi-def photoshoot that David undertakes. However, as the example in this gallery shows, we also take hi-def images of the vehicles during their detailing work to create a story line, in images, for the photo albums we are producing. In this gallery, our client owns a wonderful Ferrari BB512 that was being entered into a concours event. The work that I did in preparing the Ferrari BB512 ensured that it won the Members Choice award as ‘best in show’.
The albums are bespoke, and this example the album was finished in red leather with an engraved/etched aluminum plaque on the front cover. The pages are thick lined card with a sheen finish to stop the light reflection. The box was also finished in matching red leather with a smaller bespoke plaque mounted on the front. The albums are all presented in a ‘lay-flat’ design and in this case the closed album was 16”x14” making the open ‘lay-flat’ pages 32”x14”.

CONTINUED GROWTH - MARELLS VEHICLE DETAILING & PPF

The last two years has seen my vehicle detailing business expand in all its key areas of operation from our vehicle valeting, vehicle paint correction, vehicle detailing, vehicle ceramic coating and our vehicle PPF division. I have tried to expand and develop our vehicle workshops but due to the constant work levels, this has been a slow expansion plan. However, as these images show, there has been a lot of work undertaken providing 4 times the amount of room to work with. Today, I had a rare Jaguar XK140 in for a full body paint correction and vehicle detailing application alongside a Porsche 991.2 Carrera 4 GTS Sport Classic, an Aston Martin Vanquish and a Focus ST MK4.5 for an oil change and a wheel protector fitting.

MARELLS SUPPORTING KENT FERRARI FUNDRAISER

Today saw Peter Critchell of Kent Ferrari holding yet another great Ferrari event raising funds for Childline, a life changing NSPCC service. There were 20 Ferrari’s at Chilston Park Country House Hotel, taking part in the Annual ‘Drive it Day’ where the Ferrari & supercar drivers offered their support by purchasing plaques to display on their cars which, together with a raffle and donations, totalled £1,525!

As usual, I was on hand to support the Kent Ferrari members with their cars despite the terrible weather. In order to help raise funds, I offered a full vehicle detail for auction and was pleased to see Mark McAllister make a healthy bid for this auction lott.

Finally, Guy Portelli of the BBC Dragon’s Den fame was there showing some of his famous ‘Pop Icon’ and traditional sculptures. https://aimdart.com/ As usual, my web designer and photographer, David Marsh, was on hand to photograph the work as it progressed. FORD FOCUS ST MK4.5 – NEW CAR DETAILING SERVICE

I have often reported about my website designer, and photographer’s OCD with his cars. Today, he bought his brand new Focus ST MK4.5 to me direct from the Ford dealer who were told NOT to valet his new car. Following his terrible experiences with main dealers damaging his past new cars through poor valeting, he told the Ford dealer to deliver the ST MK4.5 direct to me at Marells. I wanted to show you just how much work goes into preparing and detailing a vehicle.

I have included many pictures showing each stage of the project. Despite this being a new car, with just delivery mileage, it took me 16 hours and a lot of premium products to achieve a professional finish. I have also worked on his past Ford ST models including his last Focus ST MK4 and his Puma ST. As with most days at Marells vehicle detailing, we had a workshop full of nice cars including a 700BHP BMW M4 and a Ferrari 812 Superfast all being detailed and modified.
