Well it’s definitely going to be scorching hot for a few days!
As is our usual practice in weather this hot, we don’t want to encourage people to be out with their dogs, putting them at risk. So, as we usually do when the temperature goes over 26°C, we will be open from 9am until midday.
Once we’re in much more reasonable temperatures we’ll be back to normal opening hours.

It’s back!!!
Tickets for the saltdeanlido dog swimming event, Dogtember are live!

The Dips are now 2 weeks old and Probably Janet has relaxed her position on my other dogs being allowed to interact with them.
Frequently Susan is never one to sleep on an opportunity so she’s very happy to greet them all 🥰 ❤️

The only downside to being lucky enough to work with the greatest beings in the universe is that sadly they’re not immortal like the deserve to be.
And so sometimes we are faced with a heartbreaking black hole where a dog used to be.
Bentley the Basset Hound has been a welcome and favourite face to have pop in for a regular since we first opened nearly 4 years ago and so we were so incredibly sad to hear that he crossed the bridge over the weekend.
We will miss his hilarious grumbling under his breath in the bath, his wonderful behaviour on the grooming table and with the dryer and his happy, ear flapping run to me to get his post-bath duck treats.
Sleep well and run free, Bentley. You are so loved. 💔🌈

I took a few days to recover from the sleep deprivation but please welcome Probably Janet’s Dip Litter, born 2nd April!

Smallest was 335g and the biggest 475g

A looooooong couple of days but Probably Janet’s face speaks for us both.
Exhausted, happy, proud and grateful everyone can through it all healthy and thriving.

As some will already know, my second oldest doggo, Probably Janet has a litter due.
Shes now showing signs of going into labour so I’m going to be at home on puppy watch for the day today and we won’t be open for DIYs.
Apologies for any inconvenience. I’ll make it up to you all with plenty of puppy photo spam once the little ones arrive.

And now the sun is becoming more of a frequent visitor, the dreaded spring moult begins!!
If your dog has a shedding coat you will know the constant battle suddenly becomes all out war as our dogs throw off their winter coats ready for the warmer weather.
A regular bath, dry and brush out can help turn the battle in our favour but when it comes to the big shed, it is no longer just a nice helping hand and is now an absolute necessity.
Fed up with the constant hoovering, the dog fur on every surface, in every meal and on all your clothes?
A good bath with our de-shed shampoo and a dry in the blowout room here means you can leave the vast majority of the floof behind for us to clean up and just walk away. 😜😜
