Well… today was a first! 😹

A concerned member of the public believed Tonic wasn’t well and, with the very best of intentions, called a vet. When we explained that this wasn’t necessary because Tonic has an owner and is extremely well cared for, the situation became rather heated, with threats to involve both the police and the RSPCA.

We’d like to reassure everyone that Tonic is loved, looked after, and regularly checked on. He’s simply mastered the art of looking like a slightly scruffy, permanently sleepy launderette cat! 🐈💙

If you ever have genuine concerns about Tonic’s welfare, please come and speak to us first. We’ll always take any concerns seriously and assess the situation if needed.

As for Tonic? He remained completely nonplussed by the whole affair and slept peacefully through the entire drama… proving once again that he’s the least bothered participant in any situation! 😴

🎓🧦 Stop the presses… Angela has finally finished her degree! 🧦🎓

After six years of studying, writing, researching, and generally disappearing behind a mountain of assignments, Angela has submitted her very last piece of work! 🥳

As a reward for all her hard work, Rob is whisking her away for a few days to recharge the batteries before the summer madness begins. We’ll be away from Wednesday 10th June until Sunday 14th June.

That does mean our lovely member of staff will be holding the fort on her own while we’re gone. Please be gentle with her! ❤️ Depending on how busy things get, same-day service washes may not always be possible, and ironing could take a little longer than usual.

So, if you pop in during those few days:
✅ Bring your washing
✅ Bring your smiles
❌ Don’t break the staff!

Normal service (and the usual level of organised chaos) will resume from Monday 15th June.
