π· Indian Sandstone Patio Restoration π·
This Indian sandstone patio had become heavily affected by dirt, algae, moss, and weather staining over time, leaving the surface looking dull and discoloured. The natural colours and character of the stone were hidden beneath layers of organic growth and built-up grime.
Using professional exterior cleaning equipment and the correct cleaning techniques, the entire area was carefully cleaned to remove algae, moss, surface contaminants, and embedded dirt without damaging the stone. Particular attention was given to the joints and textured areas where organic growth had accumulated.
We used the turbo nozzle to help remove a lot of the jointing compound due to it being redone by the customer.
The Results
The transformation was immediate. Once cleaned, the original warm tones and natural variation of the Indian sandstone were restored, significantly improving the overall appearance of the patio. The surface now looks brighter, cleaner, and far more inviting, while also being safer underfoot due to the removal of slippery algae and moss.
This restoration not only enhances the property's kerb appeal but also helps prolong the lifespan of the stone by removing contaminants that can contribute to deterioration over time.
