Another unusual job resolved yesterday. Alloy tower set up to remove panel and rodding eye to locate an old coca cola can stuck on a bend that was causing leaks during heavy rain. Can was removed and all put back together again so rainwater flows freely.

Some recent jobs from removing mortar from new surface water drains and finding fractures in the line. On to a hotel to find heavy cast iron build up blocking the toilet and then someone didn't bracket a pvc pipe in a deep manhole that has dropped into the bottom and is causing a blockage now.

So thanks to the builder for filling a redundant junction with a screed mix that blocked the main drain from the bathroom. So used a cctv camera and mechanical milling tiger core cutter to grind out the screed and return the pipe to usable condition. One very satisfied customer.

Interesting problems at a rental house this week. Manhole full of ballast by rats from a redundant pipe to be emptied and then when cleaning the rear pvc manhole we found out the manhole has been installed the wrong way around and the toilet stack pipe discharges upstream so is likely to cause blockages.
Amazing the poor quality of work done by some people.
