If someone is treating your roof for moss, algae or lichen in the UK, the chemical they use must be HSE approved.

✅ Must have an HSE approval number
✅ Many effective biocides (like DDAC) are professional-use only
✅ Must be applied correctly to protect drains & wildlife

Just jet washing or using cheap, unapproved chemicals can damage tiles, void warranties, and harm the environment.

We use only HSE-authorised biocides, fully insured and applied properly. Ask your roof cleaner for their approval number — if they can’t show it, walk away.
