When restoring your oak floor, selecting the right finish is just as important as the sanding process itself. That’s why at DAB Cleaning & Floor Care, we offer a sample oiling service, allowing you to see and compare different finishes before we begin work.

In this project, we sanded the oak floor to a smooth, flawless finish using our virtually dust-free Lagler PST® sanding system, then applied six sample colour oils to help the client choose their ideal look.

😍😍Lovely pine recovery😍😍

This week has mainly been sanding away a worn wax finish on this period pine floor.
We then stained it using a light oak stain, followed by a lovely water based primer and two coats of semi-gloss hard wearing lacquer.

A lovely finish for a great client in Hebden Bridge.

In this example we applied two water based stains and one solvent based stain; all coated with a semi-gloss lacquer.
