What's your top method for cleaning burnt on food in the microwave?

The technique I used was to put a sliced lemon in a bowl of water then microwave on high for 1 minute. Then wipe the inside of the microwave with a cloth and all the burnt food wipes away easily. Plus the microwave smells lemony fresh🍋

Kitchen sponges hold a lot more bacteria than you think and no one likes the idea of cleaning the dishes with a germy sponge!

This is why they should be cleaned weekly and replaced every other week, see below for 3 easy ways to disinfect your sponges....

1. Bleach method - Mix 3/4 cup on bleach with 8 pints of water, soak the sponge for 5 minutes and then rinse.

2. Vinegar method - Soak sponge in undiluted vinegar for 5 minutes and then rinse.

3. Microwave method - Saturate sponge in water (this is important to avoid a fire hazard) and heat on high for 1 minute. Allow to cool before removing from the microwave.
