This didn’t happen to me, but I fully support the sentiment.

I’m fed up with going to the supermarket, not seeing enough people working the checkouts and having to join the very long queue to the self checkouts. Taking 3 times as long because the person in front of always has a full trolly and no bags… 🤣🤣

My wife’s car broke down this morning. The early prognosis is suboptimal (I’m down with the young ‘uns).

We go on holiday on Monday and so I’ve had to hire a car 🤑🤑

Work has been exceptionally quiet since mid-May.

I still need to finish decorating the kitchen before I start on one of the other rooms.

I’m getting older and my body is betraying me.

These are not good things, and maybe a few years back these would be things I’d worry over. To be honest I’m not even sure why I’m not worried. 🤷‍♂️

What I am choosing to do (possibly insanely), is to trust that things will work out as they should and to just be calm. Why try to control the things you have no control over? I have better things to do with my life.

I’ll let you know how that goes 😉😂

At this point I’m not even sure anyone is seeing my posts anymore.

It seems only people or businesses that are willing to pay to advertise will appear in your feed. I’m afraid I’m not doing that!

I am proudly, predominantly, analogue in a digital world. I don’t store people’s data to sell on. Nor do I bombard people with emails and messages asking you to complete a short ‘how did I do’ survey.

After 13 years of oven cleaning, people will either use my services or they won’t. They’ll either recommend me or they won’t.

Just a reminder I am on holiday from Monday 27th July, returning to work on Wednesday 5th August.

Good availability presently though I expect that may change come September.

Appointment slots available for August, though they are limited.

We are away at the end of July for my wife’s birthday and then away mid August with the family. (Taking the grandkids to Butlins)

I hope you are all managing well with the relentless heat. I have to admit I’ve struggled. We don’t have air conditioning so it feels like torture. 😂

Just in case you didn’t notice, IT’S SO HOT!

Nobody is thinking about an oven clean at the moment and it’s completely understandable.

Somewhat perversely since this is my livelihood, enquiries are practically nonexistent at the moment and to be honest, I’m not overly worried.

Anyone who does a physical job during weather like this has my complete respect. Personally I find it incredibly taxing and tiring.

I’m ticking over and perfectly happy with that until the end of summer, I just wish we had a pool like my son’s so I could lay around like I did last weekend at his birthday bbq.

Plenty of availability for July, especially for clients with air conditioning in their kitchens 😂😂

Anyone else wondering where summer went? 🤷‍♂️

Very quiet week for me with regard to emails and phone calls, should I start to panic? I seem to see on a daily basis small businesses posting about their closure. I guess, use them or lose them is the saying that springs to mind.

Seriously though, if you are looking for a (reasonably) fast turn around for your oven clean, give me a call while it’s quiet.
Come September things get very busy again.

This weekend I will be trying to get some time to play guitar. In amongst gardening, seeing family and my normal household chores.

Glamorous life I lead.

Reg turned 3 years old a couple of weeks ago and yet he still thinks he’s a little pup.
Quite clearly not!

Apparently people aren’t seeing my posts on here, as I’m not ‘tickling’ the algorithm. 🤷‍♂️ I’m not sure what to do about that.

I still have some spaces available for this month, which is pretty normal for this time of year. So a great time to get a quick turn around on your oven clean.

I’m at home today with a bad back so I’ll be watching Ludwig on BBC I-player. We really do make some great comedies in this country. If you haven’t seen Small Prophets or The Detectorists, I highly recommend them both.

Anyway coffee and tv for me.

Back to work yesterday after almost a whole week with a chest infection. Still not quite over it, but I’m getting there.

It’s been tough stuck at home and permanently tired from lack of sleep. (The coughing has been horrendous). So it was nice to receive this little video from one of my granddaughters. We call her Hopey-Bear and I’m sure you’ll agree, she is a beautiful soul.

I’m am now talking bookings for June and July for your reference.
