As the cold winter weather sets in, you might also notice your skin feeling dry and irritated. Here are some simple ways to switch up your skincare routine to keep your skin feeling moisturised and healthy all winter long...

🤍 Go Easy on the Cleansing 🤍
You should definitely wash your face at least once a day, but if you find that your skin feels tight or dry after washing it in the winter, you don't need to wash it any more than that. Instead, simply cleanse your face fully in the evening and just use a splash of water in the morning.

🤍 Use a Thicker Moisturiser 🤍
If you're not regularly moisturising your skin, it won't matter so much in the warmer months, but in winter your skin is going to feel it. You may even want to level up your moisturiser to something thicker during the winter months to help prevent dryness.

Yes, even in rainy grey Yorkshire! We get fewer UV rays in the winter, but we do still get them! So especially if you'll be outside for most of the day, wear an SPF moisturiser to protect your skin.

In those harsh winter months, it's a good idea to cut down on exfoliation to avoid irritating dry or sensitive skin. If you're someone who gets a lot of build up on your face, you might want to exfoliate once a week or even just once a month.
