The weather is certainly getting warmer!
People often forget that it’s so important to get your chimney swept post winter 🥶

⁉️We are often asked, how often should I have my chimney swept ⁉️

The National Association of Chimney Sweeps recommends the following -

🔥Smokeless coals: At least once a year (Often believed to not need cleaning)

🔥Wood: Twice a year when in use on open fires, quarterly for stoves

🔥Bituminous coal: Twice a year

It is advisable to have your chimney swept just before and just after your main burning period to ensure safety and efficiency are not compromised.

In other words, if you have a fire or stove of any form, it is essential to have your chimney swept on a regular basis.
