Early start this morning at Celvac 🌅🥓

Before the crews headed out for the day, we got the bacon and sausage butties on the go to make sure everyone was fuelled up and ready for the day ahead.

The office team managed to grab theirs before heading into the operational meeting too! 😂

It’s the little things that make a difference — looking after our people and keeping everyone fuelled, whether they’re out on the road or keeping things running behind the scenes.

Supporting and getting involved with the local community, and in particular youth sports, is important to Celvac. We were approached by one of our employees to provide the kit for their son's team, being Briton Ferry Llansawel U15s and we were delighted to support them for the new season. Pictured with the very talented football team is Michelle Davis, Celvac's Framework Manager and David Davies, one of our HGV Plant operators who turned out to be lucky mascots on the day, with the team winning 4-1!. Good luck with the remainder of the season, boys!!

Day 1 of the ESS expo..attended some really interesting seminars about ISO14001 changes, the future strategic direction of the waste industry and challenges being met within the EFW environment. Met some existing suppliers and some potential new ones. Over 15000 steps walked fueled by lots of coffee and interesting conversations. Day 2 awaits!!

Great day supporting a great cause ⛳️
Yesterday, a few of the Celvac team had the pleasure of getting involved in the RWE Pembroke Power Station Charity Golf Day, which we were proud to sponsor in support of Sarcoma UK.

The lads had a fantastic day out on the course, enjoying some good golf, plenty of laughs and, of course, a bit of healthy competition along the way! 😂⛳️

A big thank you to RWE NPower Pembroke Power Station for organising a brilliant day and for bringing everyone together to raise money for such a worthwhile cause.

We were really pleased to play our part and support the event and judging by the photos, the team certainly made the most of it!

Well done to everyone involved, and thanks again to RWE for having us.

Great to have everyone back together for our BBQ today!

It’s something we like to do to give the office staff the opportunity to catch up and socialise with the crews who are away working week in, week out. It’s not often we get everyone together in one location, so it was great to make the most of it on a Friday before the bank holiday.

It was great to see everyone catching up, having a chat and enjoying plenty of food. Nice to see the directors of the business mucking in as well, helping with the cooking and washing the vehicles!

A great afternoon and a good opportunity to get everyone together.

We were delighted to offer use of one of our vans recently to support Bryncoch Scout Group move tents, equipment and kit to the All Wales Scout Camp in Builth Wells, with over 1000 young people in attendance. With the UK Scout Group being around since 1910, this was an amazing weekend for the young people to meet and make new friends and develop life long skills that will help them in future years. 👏👏

Had lots of fun with the Celvac team at the recent Wessex Water & South West Water’s Race Night 2026 in Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol. With over 400 people supporting the event, a huge amount of money was raised for WaterAid on the night, taking the total raised since this event started to over £1million. We were joined on our table by Mark Pugh from Marches BioGas, Adam Keylock from ESS and Chris Taylor-King from Gavin Griffiths Group, and whilst the Celvac horse didn't do very well on the night the Celvac chocolates helped us get over our disappointment!

Well done to the Wessex team for organising such a great event, the food was excellent, w**e was flowing, the company was great and my pockets were lighter by the end of the night! .

It was great to see the Celvac team support the Wales Employee Ownership Conference that took place last week at Cardiff. Our Finance Director, Jon Strange, was one of the panel members discussing the challenges and financial pressures that EO Companies and Trusts face when seeking access to funding, including how to manage relationships with financial institutions.

In it’s second year, the conference, organised by Geldards LLP, provided an informative and busy agenda, covering wide ranging topics that all related to EO transition, life after completion, succession, financial planning and employee empowerment. Celvac transitioned to Employee Ownership 3 years ago and having received lots of invaluable advice over the years on what not to do, it was a great opportunity to share our learnings with other businesses who are at the start of their journey.
