Hello! From September 5th I will be returning to my day job in school. This means my availability will change. From that date I will be available Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons 4pm til 6pm. and weekends 8am til 2pm. My regular customers will have first choice of available sessions. But, if you need a one off deeper clean, or just a clean to help you maintain in the half term holidays do book in as I'll be available day times too. Thank you for your continued support. 😊

Just a quick note on cleaners. There a lot of cleaners and cleaning companies out there and it can be difficult to choose the right one for you. As a point of reference, though. I would always advise you to ask these questions.

1. Are they fully insured? Should they accidentally break or ruin something your house, this is important.

2. Are they DBS checked and can they show you their DBS certificate? This shows whether they have a criminal record or not.

3. Can they provide references from other customers? Very helpful if you want to know how reliable they are and the standard of their work.

4. How much do they charge? The standard hourly rate is between £11 to £15. Anything below this and you could be paying below minimum wage. Generally, you get what you pay for. I would be questioning the standard of work for anythig less.

5. Are they experienced and have the knowledge to clean effectively and safely? You don't want any damage or have to clean things again.

6.Are they registered with HMRC? They should, as an individual cleaner, or cleaning business, be registered for tax purposes if their self employment earns them £1000 or more a year. If a cleaner is charging less than £11 an hour and wants paying cash in hand, I seriously advise against this.

6. Be realistic. A proper, good clean, takes time, so listen to your cleaner when they estimate how long your clean will take. The bigger your house and the more rooms you want doing, the longer it will take. Again, you get what you pay for. Two to three hours is what it would take to do a three to four bed house, depending on level of clean required and whether you have shedding pets or not. A deeper clean will take longer.

7. If you're not happy with the clean, tell your cleaner as soon as possible so that they can discuss this with you and rectify.

8. Meet your prospective cleaner beforehand so you can show them the areas you want cleaning and they can properly assess the time needed. You can get to know your cleaner too and assess if they are right for you.

Don't be afraid to ask your cleaner questions and be really specific as to what you want cleaning. Would you prefer them to use your cleaning products and equipment or your own? And talk about how they will access your home. Do you want to be there while they clean or not?

A 2 bed would take around 2 hours, a 3 bed 2-3 hrs and a four bed, three to four hours, depending on the level of clean required. Don't struggle on, give me a call to discuss your cleaning needs.

Hi, its been a fantastic start for us and we are currently full every evening 4-6pm but have some availability Saturday afternoons and Sundays. From 24th July to 4th September we will have more availability from 8am to 4pm.
