What’s the different between Matt and Glossy paint protection?….

On normal paintwork we will use wax or ceramic paint protection that keeps it safe from the elements, boosts gloss and gives the vehicle a hydrophobic layer.

However with a Matt finish we still want protection and that hydrophobic layer but we don’t want the gloss therefore we want to use a dedicated product that going to allow us to do that.

What caused this to happen? 😷🦠 ….

This was actually caused by a seal in the boot area not sitting right and allowing water to enter the vehicle and gather in the spare wheel compartment with the water levels rising it eventually made its way through to the seats in the rear of the car and the rest is history!

This took me 7 hours to complete with plenty of steam, a lot of scrubbing and a substantial amount of extraction. The customer was incredibly understanding and good communication was maintained throughout the job. They realised important steps would need to be taken afterwards to prevent a recurrence.
