Wayne’s drains now wrapped up for Christmas, back in on Monday the 30th for a job so no call-outs till this time, we’re enjoying some much needed family time. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas 🎅

With all this flooding again there are some options available on the market that will protect your property, we have only just caught up with flood prevention work from the last lot of floods and all the people we carried out work for have not flooded this time so prevention is key and keeping your drains clean and flowing fully will also benefit so if there is anything we can help people with please get in touch as phones are going mad again and will need time to assess and survey what is best needed to prevent and get the work slotted in

Has been a long day today with a lot of call-outs due to the bad weather and a lot of enquiries for insufficient drainage at properties, we’re still at it today but if anyone needs any blockages sorted or drainage installed please get in touch and we will help where we can over the coming days and weeks

With heave rain like we are having last couple of days, some of the flooding can be avoided if you have your rainwater drains cleaned out regularly in preparation, at the Brunel plaza the channel drain is blocked you can tell this because they have lifted the manhole and are sweeping the water down this, maintenance is key with rainwater drains, we do a lot of maintenance cleaning at places that would normally flood but now we clean them regularly they don’t flood anymore, sometimes though it can be that the sewers can’t cope especially at low points or cellar areas but flood prevention back up systems can be installed also as we have done this at places before also and again now don’t flood when it rains heavily, so if anyone is in need of any clearances or flood prevention work please get in touch, or any drain installs to help with the flooding as sometimes the drains can be in the wrong place and the water will just flow by as can see in last 2 pictures the gully drain is at the highest point and it flooded round the corner
