Welcome to Waterside Laundry, Killay 🧺
We are a small, friendly, local launderette that has proudly served the Killay community for over 12 years.
You’ll find us next door to the Blackboy Pub — many people say they never realised we were here, but we’ve been looking after local laundry all this time!
We provide full service laundry, including:
• Service washes
• Drying
• Ironing
• Collection & delivery service
We do everything for you — just drop off your laundry and leave the rest to us.
Our collection and delivery service runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays between approximately 3pm and 5pm, which is ideal if you’re busy, working, or unable to get to us.
We are a small team of four local ladies who take pride in offering a reliable, personal, and friendly service. Many of our customers have been with us for years.
If you’d like to enquire, arrange a collection, or ask any questions, please feel free to message us, call us, or pop in and see us.

We have opened our books for a few spaces.

Do you know any family, neighbours or friends struggling with their bedding? We offer a pick up and drop off collection on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Killay between 3-4.30 pm and sketty 4.30-6.30pm.

Costs - Wash, dry, Ironed, collection and delivery
Single Bed - £10
Double bed - £12.50
Kingsize bed - £15

Not all heroes wear capes, these ones wear ironing boards... You might be wondering why these men have been running around Wales with ironing boards strapped to their backs. Well, they’re actually training for an 'extreme ironing' challenge. Never heard of it? Well, in a nutshell, extreme ironing is an adrenaline sport that combines the thrill of an extreme outdoor activity - like sky-diving, mountain climbing or scuba diving - with the satisfaction of a well-pressed shirt. In this case, three friends Gareth, Chris and Scott, will be running an ultramarathon - over 43 miles from Brecon to Cardiff - carrying a one-metre ironing board, an iron, and clothes to iron along the way. They’re doing it to raise money for When You Wish Upon A Star - an amazing charity that grants the wishes of children living with a life-threatening illness.
