🌞 Isn’t it lovely to see blue skies and sunshine today!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful clients who were so understanding last week when we had to make a few slight adjustments to the schedule while tackling the floods. Your flexibility and kindness really do mean the world to us.

We did get a little caught out in Stanton by the Bridge — we thought the car would make it… it did not 🙈 And then a rather nasty pothole in Willington resulted in a brand new tyre! Safe to say it was one of those weeks!

But… we kept going 💪

We’re so pleased to say we managed to complete all of our cleans last week, with just one moving to the Saturday — which we think is a great result considering the challenges.

Thankfully we’re now back to normal service. Now if the weather could just behave itself, that would be perfect! ☀️

How is it already the beginning of February?

January absolutely flew by for us at Top of the Mopz. It’s been a very busy first month of the year with lots of enquiries and we welcomed one lovely new regular client to our books too.

We’re already starting February strong with two more enquiries in the first few days — which is fantastic to see!

We now only have a couple of regular slots remaining, and I’ll be sharing those a little later this week for anyone still looking.

As always, Mondays remain our Deep Clean days, dedicated to supporting our local estate agents and clients wanting a seasonal or one-off refresh. Very occasionally we can offer these to new clients too.

✨ What a great first week back it’s been! ✨

We’ve been busy covering Willington, Repton and Castle Donington, and although the snow certainly gave us a challenge, we powered through 💪❄️

The first week back after the Christmas break is always a busy one – with dust from decorations being packed away and pine needles turning up everywhere!

This year, instead of Christmas gifts as a company, we decided to donate that money to a local charity, CVS Derbyshire, which we felt was a much more meaningful way to give back ❤️

To start the year off right, we surprised our wonderful clients with thank you cards and flowers instead. Because who doesn’t love coming home to a fresh, clean house and a beautiful bunch of yellow tulips 🌼

Thank you, as always, for your continued support – here’s to a fantastic year ahead!

✨ Wow, what a month September has been! ✨

This past week has been super busy – so much so that over 1,000 cleaning cloths are currently finishing up in a huge 20kg commercial tumble dryer. ✨

We’re excited to share that our two lovely new clients have now fully settled in, and routine cleans are running nice and smoothly. 🧽💪

Last Monday we welcomed another new client with a full deep clean 🏡 – which means our Wednesday slot is now taken.
At the moment, we only have a fortnightly Thursday slot available.

📅 Tomorrow we’ll be announcing our availability for deep cleans in October & November.
And just a little reminder – our December deep cleans are always offered to our regular clients first, because let’s be honest… nothing beats a sparkling home before the decorations go up (and again before they come down!). 🎄🎁🎅

We currently have just TWO routine cleaning slots left:
📅 Wednesday afternoon

After these are taken, we’ll be fully booked for at least a month while we welcome and settle in our new clients.

We've made a few changes to how our week is structured, and we're loving the new rhythm!

🧽 Tuesdays to Fridays are now dedicated to our routine cleans – keeping your homes sparkling week in, week out.

🧼 Mondays are reserved for deep cleans, seasonal refreshes, and end of tenancy cleans – like today, where we're helping a local estate agent get this stunning property ready for its new tenants!

📅 Booking update:
✅ July – Fully booked
⚠️ August – Only one slot left! (18th)
🗓️ September – A few spaces remain (15th & 22nd)

We've kicked off National Cleaning Week with our regular commercial contract this morning, followed by quoting a lovely house in Weston on Trent.
Top of The Mopz has come Weston 😊 and what a lovely little village it is.
We've also booked on a lovely lady in Melbourne and replying to all the messages in our inbox.

🌟 It's National Cleaning Week 🌟

24th - 30th March is National Cleaning Week
It takes place at the end of March the last Sunday of the month which is the perfect time for it, Springtime is traditionally known for getting our house back in order after a dark cold winter. I personally love a bit of Spring Cleaning and getting things back in order.

Let's face it, cleaning might not be on your favourite to-do list, but a fresh organised space can boost your mood and productivity.
That's something we are always happy to help with here at TOTM.
