So, it’s the end of an era of 10 years.
Reluctantly but with a sense of pride I have finished window cleaning.
Constantly battling with tendinitis over the past 2/3 years has proven too much - I’ve sought support and help medically but taking a bunch of tablets each day isn’t enough to get through.
I’ve had to face reality, be brave and take matters into my own hands by reducing the stress placed on my tendons and ultimately calf muscles by physically cutting out continuous daily twisting, turning and movements that my technique involved to do a good job.
Hand on heart, throughout the years, throughout the weathers I’ve faced and difficulties, I’ve always given all of me.
What has driven me to do just that is the support and appreciation from my customers. It’s that simple.
It’s been quite a journey and I never lost the will to keep going until now. I felt free and proud in my work.
I’ll be doing the same in another role as I continue to push to survive and hopefully one day not have to push until I drop. Always grateful though for the days.
So “thankyou” once again for those who trusted in my efforts, it was appreciated.
End of an era for sure ☺️😞

.. pure water was slow to filter and fill last night/early this morning - so it was an early dash to Wolverhampton to purchase 2 new filters and resin.. £300’s worth.
Whole systems filters changed and then filled up for an hour or so - then started my cleaning day at 3pm.. last house of the day just completed at 7pm. 😅
