After 9 years, we're coming to the end of our time cleaning at EGO in Sutton-in-Ashfield. It's part of a nationwide review that's affected hundreds of venues up and down the country, so nothing to do with the job itself - just how things are being managed going forward.

Been a pleasure looking after the site all this time, through Covid and everything else, and we've got to know a few faces there along the way. All the best to the team.

RB WINDOW CLEANING — MEET "EVIE"! 📸⚡️
The moment of truth has arrived! Here’s Richard officially taking the keys to "Evie" from Rich over at Pentagon Kia. 🤝
A massive thanks to Rich for looking after us and getting the keys into our hands. He’s a top bloke... even if he is a Derby County fan. We tried not to hold it against him while signing the paperwork, though Richard did have to bite his tongue to stop himself from singing Forest songs in the showroom! ⚽️🔴
So, the verdict is officially in:
* No white van.
* ABSOLUTELY no black van... except Richard chose black anyway because "it's the best color and I'm the one who has to clean it." 😂
* She’s 100% electric, so we’re out here saving the polar bears and penguins. 🧊🐧
She’s a total Marmite van—half of you will think she’s a futuristic masterpiece and the other half will wonder if Richard lost a bet. But you definitely won't see many of these about, and you certainly won't miss us pulling up on your street!
Now the real work begins: fitting out rig build #5 and trying to keep the weight down. 🛠️⚡️

RB WINDOW CLEANING — MEET "EVIE" 📸
Two rules.
* No more white vans.
* ABSOLUTELY no black.
So naturally, Richard came back with a black one. 🤦‍♂️
Surprisingly, he didn't call her "Black Beauty"—he’s named her "Evie." His logic? "Black is the best colour, and I’m the one who has to clean it anyway." (Which, as a window cleaner, he should be good at). 😂🤣
The good news? Evie is 100% electric, so Richard is out here single-handedly saving the ice caps, polar bears, and penguins. 🧊🐧
The catch? She looks like a futuristic space toaster. Total Marmite van—half of you will think she's pure class, and the other half will wonder if he lost a bet. Richard actually loves it though, and to be fair, you definitely don't see many of them about!
We're keeping the make and model under wraps for now, but love it or hate it, you certainly won't miss us pulling up on your street.
(We're just glad they didn't offer a red option, or he’d have shown up wearing a full Forest kit to match).
