Wasp Nest Treatment In Watford

August and September-

Mid to late summer in August and September when wasp behaviour becomes the most volatile.

This is the latter part of the season when queens began to leave the nest to reproduce and find a suitable spot to hibernate once autumn sets in.

The remaining workers and drones will also begin to abandon the nest, since their responsibilities have come to an end. This is the part of the season where free-roaming wasps are most prevalent.

Goodnature A24 rat trap -

This brilliant trap working its magic inside a shed in a garden area of a property in Ashford Surrey. The Goodnature trap is a self resetting trap which can gain control of rat populations very quickly without the use of rodenticides.

‘When the canister is screwed into a Goodnature trap, the gas from within fills a chamber inside the trap, creating immense pressure. This is what gives the striker it’s bang! When the trigger is released, so too is the pressure, and it fires the striker, activating the trap.

Once the trap has fired, the valve which has just released the gas shuts off and closes. The gas will refill and again the pressure will build, making your trap ready for the next time it goes off.’

It’s been a busy start to the week tackling wasp nests! Some unhappy wasps here after treatment in Sunbury On Thames.

The colony and the nest grow at a rapid rate – in spring there are approximately 5,000 wasps in the nest, while in the height of summer there can be up to 10,000 wasps!
