Most people think rug cleaning starts with water.

But actually it doesn't.

Before a rug reaches the wash pit, we remove as much dry soil, dust and grit as possible. That's because washing dirt and grit deeper into the fibres isn't doing your rug any favours.

This stage uses the Duster, and it's one of the most important parts of the whole process.

It's not the most glamorous job in the workshop... but the results are worth it!
