Further to my last post. Anyone wear body cams on jobs? I think I may do after the last issue we faced. Need to look into GDPR first thought but I think going forward it will help me and the team with peace of mind. Anyone else do this?

I think I’m late to the party I bet some of you already do this.

When you do your first initial site visit to price a job how many of you inspect for damage? I failed to do so for a property we have just taken on board for a weekly clean. There were abrasive marks on the shower taps on the first day we arrived to clean. But I stupidly didn’t take photos and carried on with the clean. Now the client is threatening to sue me for damage unless I get it repaired.

I use micro cloths that would never cause the damage they are claiming was caused by me. And sadly I can’t prove either way, neither can they. But alas I find myself having to pay for solutions to resolve it. Needless to say I will only be returning to the clients home to solve the problem then they will have to find another cleaner.

So my advice going forward is to note down any damage you spot when you do the walk around and email a list of things you find to the client as evidence trail.

Protect yourself at all costs people.

Anyone else fed up with bank holidays now!!! Lost another days work. Love time off with the family but losing a day salary sucks. However today I’ve managed to book in a carpet clean so not all is lost.

Where do you buy your products and equipment from? I’ve always popped along to my locale wholesaler however I’ve noticed that they aren’t always the cheapest and they have stopped selling certain items.

So I’ve found this gem and it covers pretty much all I need weekly
