Last Monday was World Refill Day, but this doesn't need to be highlighted only once a year.

Citric Acid Crystals £1.44 per 100g
Eco Washing Powder 85p per 100g (2 x washes)

*The limescale remover is great for keeping tiles, shower enclosures etc clean.
*Citric acid crystals will keep descale your kettle and can be used in dishwashers to keep the sparkle in your glassware.
*Sobium Bicarb deodorises carpets, rugs, mattresses, footwear and is good to clean baths and sinks.

The washing powder only has 4 ingredients which are all there to clean your clothes with no harsh chemicals remaining in the fabrics.

So I've started fostering dogs again and the best way to clear up little mishaps is sodium bicarb!

Use on carpets and tiled floors!

I used around 150g for 3 x treatments until it stayed white. Doesn't take long just allow enough time for the sodium bicarb to draw the wee out of the flooring. Scoop it up and repeat.

Can be used for other spillages as well. Sodium bicarb will help remove unwanted odours, & has anti-bac and anti-fungal properties.

This use, as well as so many other uses, makes it a must have in the home! I recommend having a 1kg bag to hand!

Bought these electricity usage gadgets as trying to find out if I can cut back on amount I use.

Trying them out today to find out how much it costs on my rechargeable batteries ready to use them for Xmas lights.

I'll be taking part in The Greenshop Bisley Xmas event in the morning on 4th Dec so come along and enjoy the festivities and pick up some green cleaning tips. I'm also going to be making Xmas decs out of wool...

Some of my products are available at the green shop, so bring a clean empty spray container if you want an eco limescale remover or degreaser or cleanig vinegar.

Also available loose are, sodium bicarb, citric acid and washing powder!

It may feel like a long way off but Christmas will be upon us faster than we know! Now on sale!

Use Himalayan salt to reduce condensation in your rooms. This kit gives you 1.5kg HS with 30 x recyclable/compostable pots. All you need to do is put approx 50g into the pot and place as close to areas of condensation ie window sills. Use multiple pots in one area if required and you can also add essential oil to turn it into a room freshener as well.

check daily to start off with to see how wet the salt gets. When you can see water collecting at the bottom of the pot, it's time to put fresh Himalayan salt in.

Don't throw the used salt away as you can use it as a foot soak or in a bath.
