Cracking pub and one i always use when in the area or i detour too. 😉

This really isn’t a post that we wanted to write however we also want to be honest with you all.

Firstly we are extremely grateful for all the regular people that we see week in week out in our little pub in the valley your support is so appreciated. However the same regulars as important as they are don’t keep us going.

It’s time for us to look forward to the future and in order for us to still be here to serve you we need your help!

Please if you’re planning a day out or a walk with the family consider coming to visit us. We have a lovely conservation area right on our doorstep and there are lots of lovely walks

If you have enjoyed a trip on the Churnet Valley Railway (1992) PLC or you have been to our friends Hetty's Tea Shop then please consider coming to visit us too.

It really is a case of use us or lose us and we don’t want to go anywhere.
