Another job finished before Christmas๐ŸŽ„

All new gutters, soffits and fascias along with a new roof with old tiles back on.

Its our busiest time of year and we are working tirelessly (weekends included) to get through as many jobs before Christmas. The days are shorter giving us less hours to work. Bad weather causes delays as well as adding to our work load.

We are always grateful for our customers who are understanding to have their aesthetic job delayed so that we can get to urgent jobs like leaks and damaged roofs more quickly.

We are a small but hardworking team, which means you always know who will be turning up to work on your property. The main boss Dan is present on every job and he is your main point of contact throughout. Giving you peace of mind that you know all work will be completed to a high standard.

It's always great to receive positive reviews, but the biggest compliment to us is to receive more work from word of mouth recommendations and to have customers return to us for further work.

This customer has returned to us for THREE different elements of roof work and for us that speaks volumes. We are proud of our โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ status on yell. This customer saved around ยฃ4000 by having old tiles back onto their roof.

We remove all the old tiles, replace the felt, batten and install insulation if needed. We then put back all of the old tiles, replacing any broken for like for like. The customer has essentially a brand new roof with guaruntee. Ensuring their home is watertight and providing peace of mind for years to come at an affordable price ๐Ÿ™

Well this was a tough one ๐Ÿ˜…

We were approached by a homeowner in the process of selling his property. Unfortunately at some point in the past the roof had been coated internally with Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) a form of insualtion which became popular in the 1970s. At the time it was unknown that this foam destroys the integrity of roof joists rotting them. Homeowners looking to sell their home with this in situ will struggle to find a buyer as mortgage companies won't give mortgages if SPF is in place.

The solution - removal of the foam from the roof, scraping each joist clean, replacing joists that have become rotten, and replacing all felt, batten & tiles. A messy job, but this homeowner is now able to sell their home to any buyer not just cash buyers.

If your property has this insulation then it might be time to consider having it removed. Whether you are selling your home or not, you want your home to be safe and watertight and have the peace of mind knowing that the structure that literally keeps the roof over your head is solid and safe.
