I’m Lauren and the face behind Helping Hands, Happy Home 🏡

Thought I’d do a new little post as there’s some new faces on here and things have changed a lot for my little business since starting 6 months ago. I’ve built up a base of gorgeous regular clients and also have the privilege of seeing people needing a bit extra help for one off cleans.

💖I’m 31 years old
💖Originally from Whitley Bay, but now live in Stockton on tees (still holding on for dear life to my geordie accent)
💖I’m a registered mental health nurse and have worked in the NHS since qualifying 10 years ago
💖 My little dog Lola is the absolute apple of my eye

I started this business offering domestic cleaning in the midst of needing something to help myself. I’ve found my bounce back in life, and love helping you all. Genuinely it helps me as much helping you ❤️

I’ve always LOVED cleaning, tidying, organising, decluttering, and as I’ve got older found it to be therapeutic and of benefit to my own mental health.

Through my nursing job and now my cleaning business, I’ve seen A LOT, so never feel ashamed or embarrassed. Just message me and we can have a chat and take it from there. I’d say I’m pretty friendly and chilled and would never want you to feel uncomfortable 🥰

Everyone has things in the house they leave, they avoid or just struggle to do. Personally mine is ironing and I do everything to avoid it, including my choice in clothes to minimise things that need ironed 😆
