If you're anything like me . . .
You currently have piles of laundry to fold.
Your house is a cluttered mess.
Cooking—what's that?
There are a million things to take care of between now and the end of the school year.
Your kids are checked out already, antsy and chomping at the bit for summer break.
There are sports and field trips and concerts and graduations and field days and fundraisers and spirit weeks.
There are emails. So. Many. Emails.
Somehow money is going out faster than it's coming in. Just disappearing right out of the ol' bank account.
And you? You are flat-out exhausted.
It's May, after all. The “December” of the spring.
But I'm here to tell myself, just as much as you, that instead of feeling guilty or worried or stressed . . .
Lean into it.
Take a deep breath (for real, do it), let yourself slow down, and sink into the weariness.
Because when you take a step back, look around, and get your bearings, you'll realize the truly important stuff?

I know, it sounds crazy. There is so much to DO!
But I'm telling you—the really, truly important things have already been accomplished.
Your family is fed. They are warm. They are healthy. They are safe. They are LOVED beyond measure.
You've been doing it ALL year—pouring into them and nurturing them and loving on them.
The effects are cumulative. It all adds up.
So just remember if you’re frantically trying to check everything off your list this month—
It’s okay if everything isn’t done.
