LETS TALK GERMS 🦠
I just wanted to pop on and be transparent with everyone. Last week my son and I had a sickness bug, and this week we’ve unfortunately come down with a cold. Because of this, I’ve had to reschedule some cleans this week.
As a small business (just me!) and someone who works closely with vulnerable clients and the elderly, I have to take illness very seriously. Protecting my clients, their families, and my own household is my absolute priority.
Going forward, please could I kindly ask:
🔵 If anyone in your home has a sickness bug (vomiting/diarrhoea) or the flu, please give me as much notice as possible so we can reschedule.
🔵 If I arrive to clean and someone in the household is actively unwell with a sickness bug or cold/flu and I haven’t been informed, I will need to leave and the full clean will be charged.
This isn’t about being difficult, It’s about infection control and keeping everyone safe. If I become unwell due to exposure, I then have to cancel and rearrange multiple clients, which impacts many households.
If someone in your home is sick, please just message me, we can absolutely rearrange your clean.
I’ll be updating my official sickness policy shortly and will send this out to all clients. Apologies again to clients who i have had to cancel at such short notice.
