Monday consisted of a one-off deepclean here in stunning Calderdale.

This was an end of builders' clean, all ready to be moved into.

Dust literally gets stuck into EVERYTHING, especially wooden beams. It really is attention to detail.

This was a first where the kitchen was still full so my experience of moving and keeping my clients calm was a total asset today.

What's the difference between a cleaner and a housekeeper?

A cleaner takes away the pressure from the day-to-day chores such as hoovering, polishing, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens and mopping.

A housekeeper changes your bedding, does the washing, prepares a delicious homecooked meal, takes the dogs out for a wee (if needed) and all of above 👆.

All you have to do it come home and enjoy what you've been working hard for.

💫This one's a little appreciation post 💫

These two lovely clients of mine have been with me from the very beginning of Little Valley Cleaners back in 2011 - I've changed the business to suit my lifestyle and to my loyal clients' needs.

I have been my clients housekeeper for the past three years and I love preparing a freshly made evening meal out of whatever needs using up first out of the fridge and cupboards, making their home a lovely inviting space for them to return to after a long hard day at work.

Last minute end of builders clean....it's been a while!!

There were trade people in every room , fitting wardrobes, tiling bathrooms, painters , kitchen fitters, fitting marble work services, and me cleaning before carpet fitters arrive. The new homeowners move in on Friday 😅

I'm very tied now 😅

Little Valley Clearners, making life manageable with housekeeping. It can be the small stuff that drags you down, and keeping on top of the house is one of them.
I prepare an evening meal with whatever you already have in your fridge/cupboards, do the washing, put on fresh bedding, and do a general house clean.

Thank you so much for all of your support over the last few years, new friends and plenty of laughs (and a few tears).

We're handing this page over to Mark and Lauren today, please show them the generosity and support you've shown us, they are good people with a vision for the cafe, and will make it their own.

Parkend has had a few owners over the years, but has always been a place for people to meet, get out of the rain, share moments and enjoy something good to eat or drink.

Long may that continue.
