Second visit to treat Bedbugs in two rooms. First visit eradicated about 90% of the issue. Second visit the same as the first. Heat and chemicals. Also chucked in a fogging treatment to both rooms for the hell of it.

Rats

Always pays to do a thorough survey in any job. Rats are running through gardens and no one really knows where they are living. Survey revealed a Rat entrance hole behind the hot tub in the garden which goes into the neighbours right under a log pile. This explains why this neighbour hasn’t seen any Rats and the other neighbours have. The Rats are living under the log pile in his garden and then traversing all the neighbours gardens.

Bait box put down on one side of the garden and direct bait down the Rats hole into the nest.

Black Garden Ants

Flat infestation of black ants. Ants everywhere inside. Coming in through any hole or crack from the outside. Baited with Advion ant gel inside and out. Normally get control after a few days.

Fly job from today

Numerous flies coming into the kitchen in an HMO since Monday. Pulling down the kickboards in the kitchen I found them flying out from there. My only guess is a dead rodent festering away somewhere. Also found a rat hole outside the building on that side of the kitchen which all makes sense.

Fogging and coarse spray treatment to knock it all down.

Customer had rats entering into his kitchen from under the kitchen units. Rats entering from outside probably via broken drains and then under the floors and straight in!

Bait laid in drains and under kitchen and also traps. Caught these two beasts after only two days of trapping.

Got a call because a customer had new cables for internet etc installed which all went down because something had chewed through them.

Thinking it was Rats. No a Grey Squirrel setting up home in the neighbours soffits.
