🔥I’M WALKING ON FIRE! 🔥 (Yes, seriously.)

​On Saturday 17th October, I am doing something equal parts brave and completely ridiculous: a Fire Walk to raise money for Trust Links!

​Trust Links is an incredible local mental health charity doing vital work in our community. Mental health and community support mean everything to me, so I’m stepping way out of my comfort zone (and onto hot coals) to help support them.

​If you want to come along to watch, cheer, or just laugh at me attempting not to singe my eyebrows, please do! There will be food, drinks, music, and an amazing atmosphere.

Important Update!

​The safety and well-being of our team is always our top priority. Because working in extreme heat poses real physical dangers, especially during intense manual labor, we are making a few temporary adjustments to our services to keep everyone safe.

​🚫 Paused Services
​Until the temperatures drop, we are temporarily pausing the cleaning of:
​Conservatories
​Sunrooms
​Windows
​These glass-heavy areas trap heat rapidly, making conditions unsafe for our staff to work in.

​🕒 Schedule Delays
​You may also notice us running slightly behind schedule.

We are actively encouraging:

🌺​Extra hydration and cooling breaks for our team.

🌺​Necessary trips to the shops for cold drinks.(and to briefly enjoy their air conditioning 😝)

Today, I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down for a coffee with Karl, an incredibly inspiring member of our local community and generally just the nicest person.

​Karl is the founder of the Carli Lansley Foundation - "keeping young hearts healthy" and also the co-founder of S.M.I.L.E, a fantastic group focused on combating loneliness and supporting mental health through regular walks, quizzes, and shared meals.

​At Harmony Home Services, our core mission is all about wellbeing and bringing harmony to people's lives. We love connecting with people who share our exact values and morals.

Supporting local charities means the world to us—and this connection is even more special because I used to work closely with Karl’s family members!

​We are incredibly proud to know Karl and can’t wait to get more involved with both of these wonderful causes. 💪🌺

It has been a little quiet on the social media side of things recently but thats because we are so busy behind the scenes! Not only are we working hard cleaning, we are training, learning and expanding!

Wow, what a week!

​At Harmony Homes, we do so much more than just cleaning. This week has been an absolute whirlwind of growth and heart:

​🌷 Safety First: We’ve been diving deep into Health & Safety training and paperwork reviews. We’re thrilled to share that our wonderful H&S Advisor is officially impressed with our policies!

Huge thanks to The Laughing Pear for hosting our HSE meeting. Even with a packed house on their beautiful sunny terrace, the food and staff were incredible.

💪 Big Plans: We’re working hard behind the scenes on our expansion! Countless meetings and training sessions are underway as we move toward becoming your true "one-stop shop" for all your home needs.

​🐥 And the highlight? We ended the week by rescuing "Melody," a baby starling with a broken foot. With local cats nearby, we couldn't leave her behind. Check out the comments for a taste of the cutest little chirp 😍 She is now safe at the South Essex Wildlife Hospital , and we even got a private "concert" from her on the drive there! 🎶

Yesterday marked the 1st Birthday of Harmony Home Services, and what a year it has been! This week we've been busy bees! Check out our "birthday haul" for local causes:

​ A full long-wheelbase van plus a full car load donated to Changing Pathways! Including, but not limited to;
​
🌷300+ pairs of shoes and 26 MASSIVE bags of clothes (trust me, they are big enough to fit a person... don't ask how I know that! 😂).

​🌷Piles of books, toys, and toiletries.

🌷Boxes of Home Decor, including a TV!

A HUGE shout out to the guys and girls at Sovereign Play Equipment for delivering the majority of it and to everyone that donated!

​We also have a full car load of essentials for The One Love Project, with clothing, food and toiletries for their service users.

​But we aren’t stopping there! Today we met with the amazing team at Trust Links Charity to confirm our hole sponsorship for their upcoming fundraising golf day. ⛳️ (Psst... there are still a few spaces available if you want to join!)

​In just 12 months, our team has doubled in size, we’ve hit our health and safety milestones, and we’ve partnered with some truly incredible organizations.

​I am so incredibly proud of this team. We are more than just a cleaning company—we are here to bring harmony to our community. 🌺
