PSA: Just wanted to put the word out there.... I nearly got scammed over the phone on Saturday. The guy was very clever with his wording, using my name, address, last 4 digits of my card, my bank name, fraud Centre, you know its real because I've given you this, he was even going to send me a message/notification through the app.
Of course I was careful and a but dubious but he was very insistent.
It wasn't until my husband said, "is he pretending to be from your bank" once I'd put him onto loud speaker and because he said it a couple of times.... the caller was no longer able to hold his disguise and not so politely told me to my husband to go forth and multiply!
I normally don't answer private/withheld numbers but I was waiting on a call from drs.
