I’ve been aware of an increasing number of oven cleaners covering Southampton. Many do a good job at reasonable rates, but there have been recent cases of ovens "cleaned" at "unbeatable" prices with disappointing results.

Checkatrade, what are you playing at? Your newly announced trial aimed at oven cleaning companies is diabolical. ALL leads to come through at prices you set, which are much lower, while you charge an additional 20% to the customer for yourselves. And all the while you’ll charge us a membership fee for the privilege? This is disgusting!

If this goes ahead, I will not be alone in waving goodbye to what was once a good service. And I will actively discourage homeowners from using your service.

Shame on you!!!
