Due to continued expansion and demand we are on the lookout for our next team member. Ideally a qualified to RSPH Level 2 so they can hit the ground running. We would also consider a trainee if they were the right fit.

Ideally located in a PO or SO postcode.

Must have a UK driving license with under 6 points.

Ideally over 25 due to insurance purposes.

Willingness to complete a full DBS check.

This hot weather is bringing out plenty of calls for Bumblebees and Wasps.
The Bumblebees were nesting in a bird box, the box was sealed and relocated. They are now happily carrying about their business in a new garden.

Bumblebee nest successfully removed from cladding on a residential property and relocated to a more suitable location.

A treatment carried out today inside a yurt on a glamping site, for an infestation of Harlequin Ladybirds.

Its been a pretty wet start to 2026 so far, with a variety of challenges to keep us on our toes. Be it squirrels, mice, rats, bed bugs (so many bed bugs!) New contracts, new customers, and our fantastic existing clients.

We have managed to make the most of the somewhat rare dry weather and get some bird proofing done.

With nesting season soon upon us the start of the year is always a busy time for small bird and Gull proofing. Being organsied and having these works completed before the birds return is key.

Here we have a selection of installs featuring Defender Bird Spikes fanatic products.

Stainless steel pigeons spikes installed to the signage of a commercial unit. The fabulous thistle gutter spikes installed to guttering after we have proofed all the gaps under the tiles before the starlings return. And a spiking job across three blocks of flats using window brackets for opening windows. Here the builders who installed the first spikes cut them down so much allowing the windows to open that it was easy for the pigeons to overcome.

Hopefully the rain soon clears and we can all enjoy some dryer days ☀️

Wildlife camera used on a domestic job to confirm ingress point to householder.

Our customers Rats clearly had the Keto diet on their new years resolution list this year...
With such a desire for some steak they chewed through the fridge to access their sirloin! This is some serious rodent damage which has now resulted in needing a new fridge - once the rats are gone!

After conducting a thorough site survey we found the ingress point the rats have used to gain access into the property and their route into the customers kitchen.

A riddance treatment is now underway with some external and internal proofing scheduled to stop the rats once and for all.

A massive Wasp nest removed from a loft space today to allow roofing work to go ahead. Most of the occupants were new Queens ready to find somewhere to hibernate for the Winter.
