First time tackling green slime went well!

This was definitely a head scratcher, how to get the solid, plasticy substance out of the carpet without damaging it.... My solution - tonnes of stain remover, careful precise scraping with a blade and scrubbing with a brush. The result - a huge improvement 🤩

I used my mangle yesterday 🥳

Makes cleaning my cloths SO MUCH EASIER! I used to wring them all out and get blisters on my hands 😅

This is my process for cleaning super greasy cloths from commercial kitchen and oven cleans.

1.Soak and agitate them in dip tank powder
2.Wring/mangle
3. Soak and agitate again
4.Wring/mangle
5. Soak and agitate AGAIN...yes a 3rd time 🤣
6. Wring/mangle
7. Into the washing machine for a nice long 90°c wash
8. Dry
9. Watch Grease (optional but i had to after finding the audio 🤣)

I have separate sets of cloths for kitchens, bathrooms, builders cleans and general cleaning and within those groups all the cloths are colour coded for dirtier areas and buffing etc.

My ex boss never supplied enough cloths for jobs and occasionally would give us cloths that had already been used on another job that day 🫣🫣 so i swore i would always have the right amount of cloths and keep them all grouped. I'll soon be embroidering them too to ensure they never accidentally get mixed up 👌 Experience can never beat passion and care 💚

This rug was such a joy to clean yesterday, I LOVEEE fluffy rugs! The client made me a couple lovely teas as well, also going to book in her oven soon too, win win win!

For thicker rugs like this one i opt to use the hand tool to ensure nice concentrated cleaning and extraction of the thick fibres, then leave the air mover on while i pack away - and finish off my lovely cuppa 👌

The price of this rug clean was £60, that's just my minimum callout fee. She informed me that most companies were quoting £80+ 😱 So if you need a carpet cleaner without ridiculous prices, here i am!
