Today was a detailed first clean, giving this home the attention it deserved from top to bottom.

A gorgeous day, child free so let’s spend time together 🩷

Let’s climb Lawley, Caradoc and Ragleth in one in training for the Dolomites.

Two vehicles, one by Ragleth, one driven to Lawley. We will go up and over, down to my car and then drive back round to get the van.

Guess who left her keys in the van 🫣🫣🫣 guess who didn’t realise until hitting the peak of Caradoc 🤣🤣🤣

So back down Caradoc and walk along to bottom of both to get back to the van.

Well I have certainly tested our relationship today and the great news is that James passed 😂

Happy 17th Birthday to my amazing daughter! 🎉❤️

On Tuesday, my beautiful girl turned 17, and I couldn’t be prouder of the young woman she’s becoming.

With the heatwave making work that little bit harder, she spent part of her birthday helping me out, tackling skirting boards, stairs and all the little details that make such a difference. It wasn’t exactly the glamorous birthday celebration most teenagers would choose, but she got stuck in without complaining (well… not too much! 😅).

Thank you for always being willing to lend a hand when I need it. Your kindness, hard work and support mean more to me than you’ll ever know.

I hope 17 brings you everything you wish for. Keep being your funny, caring and determined self. I’m so proud to call you my daughter.

Happy Birthday, Jess! I love you more than words can say. ❤️🎂🥳

Sunday done right ☀️🏃‍♀️

Started the day with a 5K and now it’s time to relax and recharge in the sunshine. 🌿

Every run reminds me that progress doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to keep moving forward. A few weeks ago I was wondering if I could do it. I have never been a long distance runner - At school I was the sprinter so this was certainly not something I have ever done 🫣

✨ Weekend transformation in Ludlow! ✨

I don’t usually work weekends, but sometimes it’s worth making an exception. ❤️

This lovely family wanted their guest bedroom and bathroom given a thorough clean before relatives arrive to stay on Monday. The difference a deep clean can make is amazing, and it’s always a pleasure to help take one thing off someone’s to-do list.

Today’s job was about so much more than cleaning. Their elderly loved one has been finding it difficult to keep on top of household tasks, so the family have decided to arrange regular cleaning visits going forward.

Now they can relax knowing their loved one has someone they can trust to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home. Sometimes it’s not just about sparkling windows or a gleaming bathroom—it’s about providing reassurance, preserving independence, and giving families peace of mind. 💚

Behind every home is a story. ❤️

As someone who naturally likes everything tidy, organised and “just so”, I know how much a clean, organised space helps my mind. It helps me think clearly, relax and feel in control.

But I’ve also learned that not everybody experiences their home in the same way.

For some people, belongings represent comfort, security or memories. For others, the thought of decluttering is so overwhelming that they simply don’t know where to begin. What might look like “just a cupboard” to someone else can feel like an impossible mountain to climb.

That’s why organising isn’t about judgement. It’s about understanding.

These photos show progress, but what they don’t show is the patience, conversations, reassurance and trust that happen along the way. Sometimes the biggest achievement isn’t filling a bin bag – it’s helping someone make one decision, then another, until they start to feel lighter.

Mental health and our environment are often closely linked. A calmer space can help create a calmer mind, but getting there isn’t always easy, and everyone moves at their own pace.

Whether it’s one cupboard, one room or a whole house, perseverance, patience and understanding can help a client achieve their goal – not someone else’s version of what their home should look like.

Be kind. You never know what someone is carrying behind closed doors. 💚

🙈 Does anyone else’s children seem to think the handrail is purely decorative?! 😂

I know mine definitely use everything except the handrail to get upstairs! 🤦‍♀️ Those little handprints (and footprints!) soon build up on the bannisters - I should note mine are 13 and 17 and still do this 😅

It’s amazing what a good clean can do to bring them back to life. ✨

Go on… tell me I’m not the only one! 😅

🧹 Your vacuum works hard for you… so don’t forget to return the favour! 💙

One of the biggest reasons a vacuum starts to lose suction isn’t because it’s old… it’s because it isn’t being maintained.

Just look at these photos! 😳 The amount of hair, fluff and dust hidden inside can seriously affect performance.

A few simple maintenance jobs can make a huge difference:
✅ Empty the dust bin (or replace the bag) before it’s overflowing.
✅ Wash or replace filters as recommended by the manufacturer.
✅ Remove hair and fibres from the roller brush.
✅ Check hoses and airways for blockages.
✅ Give removable parts a regular clean and allow filters to dry completely before refitting.

A little fridge detail from one of my lovely weekly cleans today. ✨

One of the biggest benefits of having a regular cleaner is that I can keep on top of all those little jobs that often get overlooked. This week, my client asked if I could give the fridge a thorough clean – including all those awkward door seals and hidden bits where crumbs and spills like to collect! 🧼

Because I clean their home every week, I’m not rushing to get the basics done every visit. It means I can spend time on the finer details as and when they’re needed. If the fridge gets some extra attention this week, perhaps next week it’ll be the skirting boards, kitchen cupboards, or another area that’s due a refresh.

It’s all about maintaining a consistently clean home, rather than trying to tackle everything in one visit.

Those little details really do make a big difference. 💚
