TOWBAR FITTER / VEHICLE ACCESSORIES INSTALLER.

With over 20 years industry experience we are a well respected and growing family run business.

We need an experienced Towbar Fitter for immediate start.

You must have experience fitting Towbars & VSK dedicated wiring kits, as well as other vehicle accessories like Parking Sensors, Beacons, Deadlocks, Roof Racks etc.

We predominantly fit Towbars- however we also do Alarms, Trackers, Beacons, Deadlocks, Parking sensors, Roof racks & more! It is a very varied role.

It's a fast paced and friendly environment working both from our workshop and from our trade customers workshops & premises.

Experience as a Towbar fitter is essential. Further training & qualifications for the right candidate.

A full UK driving license is essential.

The candidate will be hard working, enthusiastic, flexible and have a good practical aptitude. You must have a desire to further a career in this industry. Please apply by submitting your CV and salary expectations.

Have you been told that you cant have an aftermarket towbar on your brand new 2024 Ford Transit Van, minibus, or chassiscab? Its not true!!! Is a second-hand towbar safe?

If safe, legal towing is at the forefront of your mind, which it should be, then buying a second-hand towbar isn't a great idea.

𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

A second-hand towbar could have been involved in an accident if there has been a collision with the rear bumper of the car, which could mean it is not fit or safe for towing.

It could also have been made specifically for a different vehicle to the one you want to fit it to, meaning that it may not be compatible with your vehicle.

If you are towing a trailer, caravan or horsebox, you want to be safe in the knowledge that whatever you are transporting is secure.

It is in your best interest to avoid a nasty accident on the road, and also your duty as a driver.

The best way to do that is by purchasing a brand new, vehicle-specific towbar and have the approved professional to fit it for you.
