It’s always great going back to a previous customer. This is a downstairs toilet and shower that was done towards the end of last year.

All the furniture was supplied by the customer and fitted by myself to achieve what they wanted. We had a few discussions about what was wanted and what was possible and this is what we came up with.

Excuse the camera angles and the room is quite small!

Nice little local job swapping a sink today for a customer I’ve done work for before. This was nice and straight forward but the work top hadn’t been sealed originally so some gloss paint was used before fitting the new sink and tap.

Today has seen me flushing a central heating system for a family in Fours Crosses. They have been in the house a short while and had a radiator that was blocked which I took off and flushed in the garden whilst working on the rest of the system.
You can see the sludge coming through the hoses in the photo. It’s a pretty straightforward process and great for the efficiency of heating systems. Corrosion inhibitor is added at the end of the job.

This last week has seen me replacing a cracked shower tray. Apologies for no ‘before’ photo but I forgot l to photograph everything!
Unfortunately the water had gotten behind the tiles and there was more to do than first thought. This can occasionally be the case but the customers were great and understood.
Finally today I went back to put the plinth on as I think it’s best the shower is used before everything is sealed up.

I’ve just been to a job where the person is expecting a new washing machine tomorrow. I’ve had to swap the isolation valve for them as they realised it wasn’t working and they wanted to take the machine out to give the delivery people a head start. I’m glad they tried to do this as I have unfortunately heard horror stories of people being left with two machine as the drivers couldn’t safely disconnect the machine and in reality, it’s not their job to.

Out with the old and in with the new! Sink swap for a customer who supplied the sink and tap themselves. I’d previously swapped the tap for them when the old one had packed up and it was good to see them again too.
