Joined my friend and associate Jim Eaton today to remove and rehome an estimated 50,000 strong Honey bee colony from a flat roof cavity the honey comb was about 9ft long and 2 ft wide weighed over 80 kilos🫣 🙂🙂11 hours later job was completed the Bees had been there for almost 8 years and the weight had caused the roof to sag.all the bees were safely removed and put into a new hive with the queen

Wasp nests are an absolutely amazing construction. After they pulp the wood they turn it into a type off paper mache you can see the different colours of wood they've collected. Some of it is from your fences and sheds, I've even noticed the different fence stains you've all been using over the years. Note the guards at the exit hole, the entrance is at the top of the nest in a gap at the front of the shed. Amazing little insects, it's a shame they pick such hazardous places to nest sometimes.🐝

Just a little advice, If you have a wasp nest in a wall cavity please don't block the hole up as this can drive the wasps through vents and holes into the house. Thank you 🐝
